Third at Magic Mile Truex Jr. finished third in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Impact The No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota team continued their hot streak with another good performance at Loudon Sunday. Truex started 11th on the grid and he would race his way up to second-place by the end of stage 1. He was a Top 5 driver for most of the 301-lap race at the Magic Mile. The final caution would set up a long green-flag run to the finish, and Truex would strengthen his grip on a Top-5 spot. By the checkered flag the No. 19 Toyota would cruise across the finish line third for the day. It was his fifth Top 5 of the season, and third Top 5 in the last four races.

Third at Kansas Speedway Truex Jr. finished third in the Super Start Batteries 400 at Kansas Speedway Thursday night.

Impact The Joe Gibbs Racing star would start up front and race there all evening at the 1.5-mile Kansas oval. Truex would assume the lead after the competition caution early in stage 1 and he would be a factor throughout the 400-mile. After the final restart with just 20 laps to go, Truex would make a furious charge to the front. He would pick off a handful of spots and eventually settled into third-place by the checkered flag. It was his fourth Top 5 of the season and second in just the last three races.

Poor Finish at Fort Worth Truex Jr. crashed and finished 29th in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Impact For most of the day it looked like Truex would be a Top-5 driver and possibly challenge for the win at the end of 500 miles. However, lap 220 would be Texas' version of the "big one". Heavy traffic in the tri-oval would lead to contact and then instant mayhem. Truex's No. 19 Toyota would get caught up in the carnage. The Joe Gibbs Racing star would pit for repairs but would lose several laps as a result. Once Truex returned to action he could only run at reduced rate of speed and several laps down. The 29th-place finish comes on the heels of his brilliant runner-up finish at Kentucky this past week.

Loses pole starting spot Truex Jr. will start at the rear of Wednesday night's All-Star Race at Bristol Motor Speedway after failing inspection multiple times, Jayski.com reports.

Impact This is a decent blow for Truex Jr. who was lucky enough to draw the pole for the All-Star race. Crew Chief James Small will have to use some strategy to try to get his driver back up towards the front on the World's Fastest Half Mile. He will retain the first starting spot officially, which makes him less attractive as a DFS option.

Impact The Wood Brothers Racing driver had an incredible drive Sunday in the Quaker State 400. DiBenedetto was a Top-10 driver all afternoon at Kentucky Speedway. He would finish stage 1 fourth and stage 2 ninth, picking up valuable playoff points. The final restart would see DiBenedetto shoot up through the field and almost run down Martin Truex Jr. for second-place, but he would fall just a bit short. The third-place finish was his second Top 5 for the 2020 campaign.

Impact The Joe Gibbs Racing star battled back from starting in the rear of the field Sunday at Kentucky. Truex would battle his way forward and break inside the Top 10 by end of stage 1. From there, he'd lead three different times for a total of 57 laps. Truex showed just how good he is at Kentucky Speedway. The final restart would see him battle with number of drivers for the win, but he'd chase the No. 41 Ford across the finish line for the runner-up finish. It was his third Top-5 finish of the season.
