Impact This was the last of fill-in races for Tsunoda in subbing for regular Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson. The veteran driver would experience pace and handling problems and only qualify P15 on the staring grid. That lack of track position would haunt Tsunoda. Immediately after the lights out he would get punted from behind by Carlos Sainz. His Racing Bulls machine would suffer floor and aerodynamic damage that would slow Tsunoda's pace. He would spend much of the day in heavy traffic and unable to make up ground. Tsunoda would cross the finish line in P14, one lap down from the leaders.

Drives to Points in Italy Tsunoda finished 10th in the Italian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Monza Circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Tsunoda would once again do steady work in relief of Liam Lawson in the Racing Bulls entry. The veteran driver would start 15th on the grid after a subpar qualifying effort, but would quickly begin to move his way through the field, especially after the early red-flag and restart. He would use a long opening stint on medium tyres to help with his race strategy. Tsunoda would overtake Oliver Bearman to claim P9 on lap 8 and from there would hold onto the backend of the Top 10. He would lose a spot down the stretch to Franco Colapinto and end the day with a respectable 10th-place finish at Monza.

P11 in F1 Return Tsunoda finished 11th in the Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Zandvoort Circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Tsunoda was a fill-in driver due to Isack Hadjar's wrist injury earlier in the week. He would drive the Racing Bulls entry of Liam Lawson while Lawson filled Hadjar's seat. Tsunoda started 12th on the grid despite never having driven a 2026 technical regulations car. He had good pace and fought impressive mid-pack battles. However, Tsunoda then failed to log a time in the session due to a track limit violation, lining him up 10th on the grid. His race was later derailed as he continued to try to aid Verstappen by holding up Lando Norris, though he ultimately got a penalty for changing direction more than once. Impact The best part of Tsunoda's weekend came during the sprint. He qualified ahead of teammate Max Verstappen by .01 seconds to start fourth and then held onto fifth place -- only ceding a spot to Verstappen--to bring home four points. However, as has typically been the case, inconsistency plagued Tsunoda as he was bounced in Q1 in the race portion of the weekend. Oscar Piastri would have contact with the wall and sustain a tyre puncture. The red flag would be displayed due to debris and Tusnoda would overtake the slower Piastri during that period.
