Early Stop at Abu Dhabi Hadjar finished 17th in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday evening.
Impact A good qualifying effort would go for not as Hadjar would run into trouble at the Yas Marina Circuit. He'd start the race on medium tyres and move over to hards at his lap 14 pit stop. His single stop strategy would initially appear to work. Hadjar would recover from P18 up to P13 by mid-race. However, the young driver would use up those hard tyres and they would begin to go away late. He'd tumble through the field to P17 by the checkered flag. It was an unfortunate way to end what has been a good rookie season for Hadjar.

Tyre Puncture Hadjar finished 18th the Qatar Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Lusail International Circuit on Sunday.
Impact Hadjar qualified extremely well and started sixth on the grid in Qatar. The Racing Bulls rookie would make all the right moves and strategy calls to earn a possible P6 on the Lusail Circuit, including doing a masterful job defending against George Russell down the stretch. However, disaster would strike with just 3 laps to go. His Racing Bulls machine would suffer a tyre puncture and Hadjar would drop quickly down the order. He would pit on lap 55 to replace his tyres and finish a disappointing P18. Hadjar will look for better results in the season finale next week in Abu Dhabi.

Top 10 Battle in Vegas Hadjar finished sixth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday night.
Impact The Racing Bulls youngster would have a great performance in Las Vegas. It all started with a strong qualifying effort and P8 starting position. Hadjar would grab three spots on the opening lap thanks to a hectic battle and contact among multiple drivers. He would surrender a couple of those spots just before his lone pit stop on lap 20. However, Hadjar would rejoin P11 and begin his drive back to the front. He would settle in behind Carlos Sainz and chase him all the way to the finish. Hadjar would originally credited with a P8 finish but promote two spots after the race due to the double McLaren disqualification.

Double Points for Racing Bulls Hadjar finished eighth in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Interlagos Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The recent points slump would be halted in Brazil on Sunday. It started with an outstanding qualifying effort for Hadjar. He'd line up fifth on the starting grid. The Racing Bulls youngster would promote to P4 with the early retirement of Charles Leclerc. However, he'd soon yield a spot to George Russell afterward. Hadjar's two-stop strategy would give him the fresh tyres late to overtake Nico Hulkenberg and forge a strong eighth-place finish and double points day for the Racing Bulls at Interlagos.

Fade at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Hadjar finished 13th in the Mexico City Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The hopes to rebound to points would be buoyed by a P8 starting slot for Hadjar. However, he would run into many headwinds in this grand prix. The Racing Bulls youngster would start out on medium tyres which was a contrast to most of the field starting on softs. Hadjar would lose three spots on the opening lap and that would set the tone for the day. He would run long to lap 34 for his lone pit stop but that wouldn't help regain any track position. Hadjar would lose spots down the stretch until a final overtake by Alex Albon would slot the young driver in P13 at the checkered flag.

Start from Rear in Austin Hadjar finished 16th in the United States Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The Racing Bulls youngster would start in the very back of the field after crashing out of Q1 on Saturday at Circuit of the Americas. Hadjar would start on hard tyres and have his work cut out for him. A lap 28 pit stop would allow him to climb up to P16 in the running order. Hadjar would settle into P17 after his stop and overtake a fading PIerre Gasly down the stretch to secure 16th-place in the United States Grand Prix.

Misses Points at Marina Bay Circuit Hadjar finished 11th in the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Marina Bay Circuit on Sunday.
Impact A good qualifying effort would put the young Racing Bulls driver eighth on the starting grid. However, hopes for points in Singapore would eventually fade for Hadjar. He would start the race on soft tyres and be among the earliest to pit for fresh rubber. That would result in Hadjar rejoining in P17 and having to deal with a lot of traffic. In addition he would also be experiencing engine issues and that would hinder his progress. Hadjar would recover to P10 near the end of the race but would lose a spot late to Carlos Sainz as he would be on fresher tyres.

Snags Points in Baku Hadjar finished 10th in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Baku City Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Impact A good qualifying effort would put Hadjar eighth on the starting grid. He would get around Lando Norris on the opening lap but would soon surrender that spot back on lap 5. The Racing Bulls youngster's race strategy was a bit of a compromise between a long opening stint and short opening stint. It would allow him to pit out of P8 on lap 29. However, the long final run to the checkered flag would see him rejoin at the end of a long DRS train and Hadjar could not retake any ground. He'd finish a respectable P10 in Baku.

Earns Points at Monza Hadjar finished 10th in the Italian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Monza Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Impact Hadjar would follow up his maiden podium at Zandvoort with a nice recovery drive at Monza. The young Racing Bulls driver would start 19th overall and from pit lane due to power unit changes by the team. Hadjar would patiently pick his way through the field and pit out of P10 at lap 32. He would get around Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman in the laps after his pit stop to work his way back towards points. Hadjar would promote one spot late due to Esteban Ocon's very late pit stop and earn a strong P10 and 1 point in Italy.

Maiden Podium in Dutch GP Hadjar finished third in the Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The young Racing Bulls driver started fourth on the grid and did a spectacular job holding onto that track position despite pressure early from Charles Leclerc. The race would have a lot of twists and turns due to shocking retirements and weather changes, but Hadjar would hold strong with his two-stop pit strategy. He would be running in third-place late when Lando Norris suffered a mechanical failure and dropped out of the race. Hadjar would promote to P3 and hold off George Russell over the final 8 laps to secure a brilliant third-place and first-career podium finish.

Misses Points in Hungary Hadjar finished 11th in the Hungarian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring circuit on Sunday.
Impact On a day when the single stop strategy worked for most drivers employing it, things didn't work out so well for Hadjar. He'd start 10th on the grid and run a stint to lap 33. He was among the earliest to pit on the one-stop approach. In addition to this, the young driver battled pain in his hand throughout the race from gravel that had been kicked up and into his hands on lap 1. Hadjar eventually fell into the clutches of the leaders and would go a lap down with 5 to go. He would finish P11 and narrowly miss out on a double points day for the Racing Bulls.

Last-Place at Spa Hadjar finished 20th in the Belgian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Impact Great qualifying would put Hadjar eighth on the starting grid. However, poor race strategy would completely undo any hopes of grabbing points Sunday in Belgium. The Racing Bulls youngster would run his opening stint longer than most and pit on lap 13. Hadjar would then switch to medium tyres in a two-stop gambit. The mediums would fall off rather quickly and soon Hadjar would be back on pit road for new hard tyres on lap 20. That would bury him deep in the field and he'd ride P20 the rest of the way, losing a lap to the leaders. Hadjar will look for better results next round in Hungary.

Crash at Silverstone Hadjar crashed and finished 17th in the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Silverstone Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Impact With a P12 starting spot, there would be reasonable hope the young Racing Bulls driver could challenge for points in the British Grand Prix. However, things would turn sour pretty fast for Hadjar. He would drop to P16 on the opening lap after pitting on the formation lap for slick tyres. Hadjar would tip-toe around the circuit for several laps trying to maintain control in wet conditions. He would later take on intermediates but be so far back in the field that the heavy spray and visibility were a major issue. On lap 18 he'd crash into the rear of Kimi Antonelli and bring his day to an end at Silverstone.

P12 at Red Bull Ring Hadjar finished 12th in the Austrian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Red Bull Ring on Sunday afternoon.
Impact Hadjar would fail to advance out of Q2 and that would put him 13th on the starting grid in Austria. He would start the grand prix on soft tyres and pit almost immediately on lap 2 for new tyres. That would bury him in the back of the field for a while, but the early retirements of four drivers would help move Hadjar up the order. A second pit stop on lap 28 would setup a long run to the checkered flag. Hadjar's aging tyres would become an issue down the stretch and he'd fade from P8 to P12 over the final laps.

Fade in Canadian Grand Prix Hadjar finished 16th in the Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday afternoon.
Impact After starting 12th on the grid any hopes for points on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve would soon fade for Hadjar. A early pit stop would cycle him back out into the field in P20. The incredibly long second stint on hard tyres would only see him promote up to P14. Very worn tyres late would be Hadjar's undoing and he would slip to 16th-place by the checkered flag. He'll look to rebound next round out in Austria.

Impact The incident occurred near the end of Q1. The Racing Bulls youngster was on a cool down lap and Sainz would encounter him during his final push lap. The two would meet in the turn 6-7 chicane and Hadjar's position would disrupt Sainz' line through the turns. The incident would cause the Williams veteran to fail to advance out of Q1 and Hadjar would be hit with the three-spot grid penalty after review.

Points Streak to Three Races Hadjar finished seventh in the Spanish Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday afternoon.
Impact Hadjar extended his points streak to three races with another solid performance at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. A good qualifying effort put him ninth on the starting grid and he used that track position well. A longer opening stint than most allowed the young driver to race up into P7. That set the tempo for the rest of the grand prix. Down the stretch Hadjar hounded Lewis Hamilton for sixth-place but would have to settle for P7 at just a half-second back of the Ferrari star.

Impact Hadjar would be one of the most impressive young drivers on the race track Sunday in Monte Carlo. His strong qualifying performance would set him up fifth on the grid. Hadjar would pit on laps 14 and 19, which were unusually close together. However, the Racing Bulls rookie would only drop one spot to that strategy and was able to covert a P6 finish at the checkered flag. It was the best finish of the season for Hadjar and helped the Racing Bulls to a double points day in Monaco.
