Back on Podium in Miami Russell finished third in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The Mercedes veteran would start fifth on the grid and quickly pick up one spot on Lando Norris' first lap error. Russell would eventually give that position back on lap 7 but would stay forward thinking in his racing from that point on. A mid-race caution and safety car would be played perfectly by Russell and his team and he'd move up to P3 by his lap 29 pit stop. He would hold onto that track position although he'd fall well behind both McLarens on the final dash to the finish. It was Russell's fourth podium of the season.

Finishes fifth at Saudi Arabia Russell finished fifth in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix F1 race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday.
Impact Russell rounded into form as the weekend progressed, and the peak came in qualifying when he landed his Mercedes third on the grid. However, he struggled in the second half of the race on a hard set of tires, allowing Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, despite each making mistakes at various points of the weekend. Though it was a disappointing conclusion to the grand prix, Russell has finished no worse than fifth through five races this season.

Solid showing in Japan Russell finished fifth in the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Impact Russell had high expectations entering the weekend and looked to have the potential to compete with the McLarens and Max Verstappen. Given the difficulty of passing at Suzuka, qualifying was particularly important this weekend and Russell was left disappointed with his performance. He tried to keep his tires cool on his final push lap to save grip for the final sector, but he struggled to find pace in Sector 1 as a result. That left Russell to start fifth on the grid, the place he also finished. Despite the disappointment, he has driven consistently to begin the season and should remain in podium contention at Bahrain.
