Impact Russell's slump continued, as he qualified seventh and nearly three-tenths of a second off the pace of teammate Kimi Antonelli. Things only got worse from there, as he stalled to start the race and slipped all the way to 21st. Mercedes took the blame for the mistake, and Russell managed to recover to nearly his starting position. While that was a silver lining, he fell further behind Antonelli and is now 59 points off the pace of the championship lead.
