Sent back to Triple-A The Athletics optioned Tur to Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Impact Tur will give up his spot on the active roster to lefty Drew Rom, who was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move. After allowing three earned runs over two innings and tossing 33 pitches in Tuesday's 12-4 loss to the Rays, Yur was unlikely to be available out of the bullpen for at least the next day or two had he stuck around with the Athletics.

Impact Tur gave up 14 earned runs in just 2.2 innings across his first two MLB outings in July, and he's coughed up 11 runs in 2.2 frames since returning to Triple-A. Despite his performance, he'll return to the majors to give the A's another fresh bullpen arm to work with, replacing Hayden Juenger.

Impact The 26-year-old Tur was promoted for his major-league debut last week and was absolutely pounded across two appearances with the big club. He faced 24 batters and was able to record just eight outs, while allowing 14 runs on 12 hits and four walks with three strikeouts. Manager Mark Kotsay openly wondered if Tur was tipping his pitches, according to Jason Burke of Roundtable.io. Tur will try to figure things out again with Las Vegas.
