Impact Niko Goodrum (abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, so Castro is likely to play regularly at shortstop while the former is out. The 23-year-old has performed well so far this season, slashing .333/.340/.529, and he should continue to see playing time even after Goodrum returns.
