Rowdy Tellez - Recall depends on Springer Tellez is expected to be recalled whenever George Springer (quadriceps) is able to play the outfield regularly, Gregor Chisholm of the Toronto Star reports.
Impact Tellez was sent to the alternate site Wednesday because Springer is only able to serve as the designated hitter at the moment, leaving Tellez with nowhere to play. Chisholm says Springer's move to full-time outfield work isn't imminent, so we probably won't see Tellez back in the majors until early-to-mid May.

Ross Stripling - Could start Sunday Stripling (forearm) could start Sunday's game against Atlanta, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Impact He was cleared for mound work a week ago and has been throwing bullpen sessions. With Hyun Jin Ryu (glute strain) landing on the injured list, the Jays need all hands on deck. Even if Stripling gets activated for Sunday's start, he may not be able to log five-plus innings.

Impact The Jays were also hopeful that Ryu wouldn't miss any starts 24 hours ago and now he is on the 10-day injured list, so we shouldn't read too much into these comments. The team's beat writers are saying that Toronto is being cautious with Ryu in the short term. There will likely be a bullpen game Saturday and Ross Stripling (forearm) could return from the IL to start Sunday. Ryu could be activated to start May 6 in Oakland if he misses the minimum amount of time.
