Cristhian Vaquero - Recovering from shoulder surgery Vaquero had shoulder surgery last fall and will report to Single-A Fredericksburg once cleared, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact It's not clear how long Vaquero will be out, but he suffered the injury to his left shoulder on a dive back to the bag in the Carolina League Championship Series. Vaquero hit .190 with five home runs and 29 steals in 103 games at Single-A in 2024.

Kevin Made - Out with oblique injury Made is on Double-A Harrisburg's injured list due to an oblique injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact He picked up the injury this spring and is expected back in the coming weeks. Made was just above league average (103 wRC+) at High-A last year despite hitting just one home run. He hit .158 with one home run and two steals in 21 games at Double-A.

Tyler Stuart - Out with elbow injury Stuart is on Triple-A Rochester's 7-day injured list due to an elbow injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.
Impact The organization is hopeful it isn't a serious injury, but Stuart should still be considered out indefinitely. Acquired from the Mets in last year's Jesse Winker trade, Stuart is a 6-foot-9 righty whose extension makes up for low-90s fastball velocity. His best pitch is his sweeper, but none of his offerings are near plus. Stuart had success last year at Double-A, but he gave up 14 runs in 16.2 innings over four starts at Triple-A.
APRIL 3 ROTOWIRE
Tyler Heineman - Continues hot start Wednesday Heineman went 2-for-4 in Wednesday's win over the Nationals, and he's batting .429 (3-for-7) to begin the season with a solo home run.
Impact The switch hitter's contributions weren't limited to his bat -- Heineman rang up the final out of the game by throwing out Jacob Young on an attempted steal of second base in the ninth inning. While two games is hardly enough of a sample to suggest the 33-year-old with the .589 career OPS in 306 big-league plate appearances is headed for a breakout, Heineman is at least on his way to earning more playing time with his play. Starting catcher Alejandro Kirk has never been behind the plate for more than 99 games in a season, so if Heineman keeps finding ways to make an impact, he could become a useful second catcher in AL-only formats.
