Dillon Lewis - Back in action at Double-A Lewis (wrist) went 3-for-25 with a triple and a 0:9 BB:K in his first seven games with Double-A Pensacola since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Aug. 14.
Impact Lewis had been on the shelf for just over seven weeks due to a fractured wrist. The 23-year-old outfielder has struggled to find his swing since his activation but has still been an above-league-average hitter (104 wRC+) at Double-A this season, slashing .233/.303/.489 with 17 home runs and 14 steals over 73 games.

Deyvison De Los Santos - Demoted to Triple-A Miami optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.
Impact After a two-day stint in the majors, De Los Santos will give up his spot on the 26-man active roster to first baseman/outfielder Kyle Stowers (hamstring), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. De Los Santos should get the chance to play on an everyday basis upon returning to Jacksonville.
AUGUST 24 • ROTOWIRE
Griffin Conine - Sitting versus southpaw Conine is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Red Sox.
Impact The left-handed-hitting Conine has received some opportunities recently to play against lefties, but he will take a seat in this one as Boston sends southpaw Ranger Suarez to the bump. Agustin Ramirez will slot in at designated hitter for the Marlins.

Kyle Stowers - Returning from hamstring injury Monday The Marlins reinstated Stowers (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at first base and bat third in the series opener versus the Red Sox.
Impact Miami optioned infielder Deyvison De Los Santos to Triple-A Jacksonville to clear room on the active roster for Stowers, who missed approximately two weeks due to a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. Stowers didn't require a rehab assignment prior to being activated, but the Marlins could look to build in and off day or two for him in first week back with the big club following the injury. The 28-year-old hit .242 with 16 home runs, one stolen base, 52 RBI and 44 runs in 94 games with Miami prior to landing on the shelf.

Max Meyer - Remains shut down from throwing Meyer (neck/rib) has yet to be cleared to resume a throwing program, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Impact Meyer landed on the 15-day injured list just after the All-Star break with a neck strain, and he more recently suffered a rib injury that required a cortisone shot. The right-hander is rehabbing at the Marlins' spring training complex in Florida, and it's unclear when he will be cleared to throw. With just over a month remaining in the regular season, Meyer is running out of time to get stretched back out to return as a starting pitcher.
AUGUST 24 • ROTOWIRE
CJ Abrams - Returning to Washington lineup Abrams (ankle) will start at designated hitter and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Rockies.
Impact Abrams missed the last four contests while recovering from a left ankle sprain, but he's feeling well enough to at least hit in Monday's series opener. When Abrams does return to playing a position, he's expected to serve as the Nationals' primary second baseman down the stretch.

Connelly Early - Resumes mound work Early (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Danielle Allentuck of The Washington Post reports.
Impact Early encountered a setback in early August when he experienced minor left forearm tightness during a live batting practice session. The left-hander has now resumed mound work as he looks to join the Nationals' rotation sometime in September. Early has not pitched in a game since late June, and he went from the Red Sox to the Nationals in a late-July trade that sent Curtis Mead (wrist) to Boston.
