Goes deep again Monday Peters went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-1 loss against Seattle.
Impact Peters turned on a center-cut sinker and deposited it over the right-field wall for a solo homer in the seventh inning. After going without a homer through his first 42 games, the 26-year-old has now gone deep in back-to-back contests. Overall, he's hitting .257 with seven extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 13 runs and four stolen bases across 122 plate appearances. While Peters started Monday's contest in left field, he has seen most of his action this season in center field and figures to continue drawing regular starts against right-handed pitching moving forward.

On bench for second time in series Peters is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Impact The left-handed-hitting Peters' absence from the lineup Sunday isn't surprising while the White Sox face off against a lefty starter (Jeffrey Springs), but the 26-year-old outfielder also hit the bench for the team's previous matchup against a righty (Aaron Civale) in the series opener. With Peters having thus far turned in an underwhelming .209/.277/.233 slash line through 47 plate appearances on the season, he might have to settle for more of a part-time role in the Chicago outfield with Everson Pereira (.969 OPS in 36 plate appearances) handily outproducing him.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Not in Friday's lineup Peters is not in the White Sox's starting lineup against the Athletics on Friday.
Impact It'll be the second consecutive game that Peters will start the game on the bench, with the White Sox starting Sam Antonacci, Luisangel Acuna and Everson Pereira in the outfield from left to right. Over his last 10 outings since April 4, Peters has gone 2-for-22 (.091) with one walk and six strikeouts.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Heading to bench Thursday Peters is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rays.
Impact The left-handed-hitting Peters is on the bench for the third time in four games, with each of his absences coming against southpaws. The White Sox could continue to deploy him as a platoon player in the outfield until Austin Hays (hamstring) returns from the injured list, at which point Peters could see his opportunities to start against right-handed pitching dry up.
APRIL 16 • ROTOWIRE
Taking seat against southpaw Peters is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
Impact Peters will hit the bench for the second time in the series, sitting along with fellow left-handed hitters Dustin Harris and Andrew Benintendi while the Royals send southpaw Noah Cameron to the bump. Chicago will go with a starting outfield of Tanner Murray, Luisangel Acuna and Derek Hill from left to right in the series finale.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Sitting versus lefty Peters is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.
Impact Peters has been a lineup regular to begin the season for the White Sox, but the results have been middling through nine games with a .269/.321/.308 slash line, one steal and 35.7 percent strikeout rate. Austin Hays (hamstring) and Everson Pereira (ankle) are both on the injured list, which should give Peters some breathing room in regard to competition for playing time.
