Impact With the score tied at 3-3, Kemp slashed a single to right to score Ryan Noda in the bottom of the ninth and give the Guardians the win. The veteran infielder/outfielder also came around to score in the second after stealing his first base of the season. Kemp won't provide much power and plays in a lethargic lineup, but he should hit at the top of the group against right-handers and does provide some versatility on benches.

Impact Kemp has really struggled thus far this spring, so it's nice to see the 31-year-old have some success. Even with the knock, the left-handed hitter is slashing just .154/.361/.192 in his time in Arizona. Kemp is likely to hit at or near the top of the order against right-handers for the A's while likely moving to the bottom or out of the lineup altogether against southpaws.
