Impact Neuse's stint with the big club will come to an end after the Dodgers reinstated Max Muncy (personal) from the paternity list in a corresponding move. He was with the Dodgers for five days, appearing in all five of the team's contests during that stretch while going 1-for-7 at the dish. His demotion leaves the Dodgers without a true righty-hitting utility option off the bench, as neither Albert Pujols nor Austin Barnes fit that profile.

Impact Neuse singled his first time up in the eighth and ended up stealing second but was left stranded. It was his first hit in three games since he was recalled July 21 and it was also the first stolen base of his young career. He'll continue to provide infield depth and should see an occasional start every now and then to give a regular starter a breather.

Impact Neuse will return to the minors as part of a shuffle after Cody Bellinger (lower leg) and Zach McKinstry (oblique) were reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday. Neuse appeared in 28 games during his time with the big-league club and hit .172 with three home runs, six runs and four RBI.

Impact Neuse made his big-league debut in 2019 and had a .250/.295/.304 slash line in 61 plate appearances, but he spent the entirety of the 2020 campaign at the alternate training site. The 26-year-old didn't have a clear path to playing time in Oakland with Matt Chapman at third base and Tony Kemp and Chad Pinder at second base, so he'll receive a fresh start with the Dodgers. Neuse also figures to have a tough time cracking the majors with his new club, but the team is currently without any clear options at third base with Justin Turner still a free agent.
