Outrighted to Triple-A Heineman cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

Impact Heineman was designated for assignment by Cincinnati on Monday, but he'll remain in the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. The 28-year-old had a lackluster .100/.206/.300 slash line with two home runs, five runs and three RBI in 19 major-league games this year, but he could rejoin the Reds as outfield depth at some point.

Impact The Reds decided they needed an extra infielder rather than an extra outfielder on the bench, removing Heineman from the roster and adding Alejo Lopez in his place.
