Eric Haase - Returns to Giants Haase signed a minor-league contract with the Giants on Wednesday.

Impact Haase parted ways with the Giants after posting a .911 OPS over 18 games in the Cactus League, but he'll now return to the organization and provide depth at Triple-A Sacramento. He'd likely be called up to work as a backup in San Francisco if Patrick Bailey or Daniel Susac had to miss time.

Luis Arraez - Three hits, steal in loss Arraez went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Padres.

Impact Arraez isn't a big contributor in the counting stats, but he's already logged two steals over six games this season. He had a career-best 11 thefts in 154 regular-season contests with the Padres last year. Speed isn't typically something that increases with age, so don't expect the 28-year-old to make a huge impact in that area. He's now batting .304 (7-for-23) with a walk, one RBI and one run scored, and his double Wednesday was his first extra-base hit of the year.

Mason Miller - Logs four-out save Miller allowed a hit and struck out three without walking a batter over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Giants.

Impact Miller entered the game with one on and two outs in the eighth inning and shut things down. The Padres proceeded to add four runs in their half of the eighth to give Miller plenty of cushion. This was his second save of the season, and he's added a 5:1 K:BB over 2.1 scoreless innings so far. He is firmly locked into the closer role, and Wednesday's outing shows manager Craig Stammen won't hesitate to ask him to cover more than one frame if necessary.
