ImpactAt the start of the tournament, the Padres had asked Team Dominican Republic to limit Soto's workload after he battled a bit of left calf tightness between late February and early March. But there are no more lingering concerns about that injury, and there will be no more WBC limitations on the 24-year-old superstar. He's gone 4-for-9 with a home run and two doubles through two games played for the Dominican side.

Keaton Winn - Optioned out of MLB campThe Giants optioned Winn to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactWinn was added to the 40-man roster in November so that he could be protected from the Rule 5 Draft, but he never stood much of a chance to make the Opening Day squad out of camp this spring. The 25-year-old posted a 4.08 ERA in 108 innings last season between Low-A, High-A and Double-A ball.

Tristan Beck - Optioned to SacramentoBeck (ankle) was optioned Tuesday to Triple-A Sacramento, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactBeck was removed from a Cactus League appearance this past Sunday after taking a comebacker off his left ankle, but all seems to be well in that regard. The 26-year-old could get the call to the Giants as emergency rotation depth at some point in 2023.

Isan Diaz - Optioned to Triple-A levelDiaz (hamstring) was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento by the Giants on Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactDiaz came down with a bit of hamstring tightness earlier this week, but he was already on the outside looking in for an Opening Day roster spot in San Francisco. The 26-year-old will serve as organizational infield depth for the Giants in 2023.
