Luke Weaver - Exits with injury Weaver was removed from Tuesday's game against the Giants after taking a comebacker to his left elbow, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Impact After taking a line drive to the elbow off the bat of Michael Conforto, Weaver was immediately removed from the game by trainers. The Reds will take a look at him and should provide more information shortly. Weaver had surrendered four earned runs on four hits while racking up six strikeouts through 2.2 innings before making an early exit.

Bryce Johnson - Called up as 27th man The Giants recalled Johnson from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday to serve as the team's 27th man.
Impact With Monday's game against the Reds spilling into Tuesday, the Giants will get to bring up Johnson for Tuesday's regularly-scheduled contest. Johnson holds just a .485 OPS in the majors this season and will almost certainly return to Triple-A after the game is over.

Tristan Beck - Optioned to Triple-A The Giants optioned Beck to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
Impact Beck has been solid out of the bullpen for the Giants this season with a 3.06 ERA and 1.12 WHIP through 50 innings, but he'll return to the minors to clear a spot on the roster for Anthony DeSclafani (shoulder). As long as Beck keeps performing as well as he has been, there's a good chance he returns to San Francisco later this summer.

Anthony DeSclafani - Activated ahead of start The Giants reinstated DeSclafani (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Tuesday against Cincinnati.
Impact Right shoulder fatigue sent DeSclafani to the IL in early July, and he'll now return to the Giants' rotation after a minimum stay. DeSclafani made a rehab start in rookie ball Thursday, allowing one run on five hits while striking out four batters across four innings. He carries a 4.44 ERA and 1.19 WHIP heading into his start against the slumping Reds.
