Eguy Rosario - Optioned to Triple-A Rosario was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
Impact Rosario was added to the 40-man roster in November to protect him from the Rule 5 draft, and he went 4-for-18 with a run, an RBI, a stolen base and four strikeouts across nine Cactus League appearances this spring. After spending the entire 2021 campaign at Double-A San Antonio, he should progress to the Triple-A level to begin the season in 2022.

Kyle Tyler - Sent to Triple-A The Padres optioned Tyler to Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
Impact Tyler has been a fixture on MLB's transaction log this month, but at least this time, he'll stick around in the Padres organization after getting designated for assignment and subsequently claimed off waivers on two other occasions. Though he'll begin the season in El Paso, Tyler's status as a 40-man roster player will keep him on the short list for a promotion when the Padres are in need of a fresh relief arm.

Ray Kerr - Sent to El Paso Kerr was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
Impact Kerr was traded to the Padres during the offseason, and he allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five in three innings across three relief appearances during Cactus League play. The left-hander will begin the year in the minors but will likely be in the mix to make his major-league debut at some point this season.
