Xander Bogaerts - Drives in three Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Pirates.

Impact Bogaerts opened the scoring with a two-out, RBI single in the first inning before driving in two more runs in the second with a double. It's an encouraging effort from the 32-year-old Bogaerts, who'd gone just 4-for-29 (.138) in his previous eight games. Overall, Bogaerts is slashing .243/.333/.348 with one homer, 11 RBI, 15 runs scored and six steals through his first 132 plate appearances this season.

Andrew Heaney - Rough outing vs. Padres Heaney (2-3) took the loss Sunday against San Diego, allowing four runs on eight hits and four walks over 3.2 innings. He struck out three.

Impact After pitching to a 1.72 ERA in his first five starts this season, Heaney's now given up eight runs in just 8.1 innings over his last two outings. The left-hander's ERA is now up to 3.18 with a 1.11 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB across 39.2 innings this year. Heaney will look to get back on track in his next start, currently scheduled for next week against Atlanta.

Stephen Kolek - Blanks Pittsburgh in season debut Kolek (1-0) earned the win Sunday against the Pirates, allowing four hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out four.

Impact It was a strong season debut for the 28-year-old Kolek, who held the Pirates to just four singles en route to a victory. Kolek made 42 appearances out of the bullpen for San Diego last year, pitching to a 5.21 ERA with a 1.52 WHIP and 39:12 K:BB across 46.2 innings. Kolek figures to stick around as the Padres' fifth starter following Sunday's performance. He'd line up for a road matchup in Colorado in his next outing.
