Kyle Freeland - Set for another bullpen Freeland (shoulder) is scheduled to throw in a bullpen session Saturday, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

Impact It appears Freeland won't need to embark on a rehab assignment, so Saturday's session could his last before returning from the 15-day injured list, potentially as soon as the Rockies' upcoming road series against the Reds that commences Tuesday. Prior to landing on the IL due to left shoulder inflammation, Freeland posted a 2.30 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB across 15.2 innings.

Willi Castro - Sitting out Friday Castro (knee) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.

Ryan Feltner - Placed on 15-day injured list The Rockies placed Feltner on the 15-day injured list Friday with right ulnar nerve inflammation.

Impact Feltner was removed from his start against the Padres on Thursday due to what was called right triceps tightness at the time, but upon a more thorough exam, it turns out he's got a nerve issue in his pitching elbow. The Rockies have not revealed a timetable for the righty's return, but it's an injury that could result in an extended absence.
