Outrighted to Louisville Benschoter cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Louisville.

Impact Benschoter joined the Reds' active roster twice in 2025 but has yet to make his debut in the major leagues. He appeared in 38 games at Louisville, however, turning in a 4.12 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with a 68:22 K:BB over 78.2 innings. He's likely to report back to Triple-A to begin the 2026 campaign.

Optioned to Triple-A The Reds optioned Benschoter to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.

Impact Benschoter will head back down to the minors after the Reds activated Hunter Greene (groin) from the 15-day IL on Wednesday. Benschoter has yet to make his MLB debut, as he didn't appear in a game during either of his two short stints on the 26-man roster this season. He owns a 3.78 ERA and 7.7 K/9 across 104 innings at Triple-A.

Impact Benschoter was called up in early July for his first big-league stint, but he never made his MLB debut. Impact Benschoter earns his first big-league promotion after collecting a 4.06 ERA and 44:13 K:BB over 51 innings covering four starts and 17 relief appearances with Louisville. The 27-year-old will give the bullpen some length and will be making his major-league debut when/if he enters a game.
