Impact Kieboom's recovery from Tommy John surgery hit a snag in the spring when he suffered a right shoulder impingement, but he's now ready to return to a live setting for the first time since 2021. While the shine has faded on the former top prospect, Kieboom is still only 25 years old and the Nationals figure to give him another chance to prove himself at the major-league level once he's fully up to speed.

Chad Kuhl - Goes on IL with foot injury The Nationals placed Kuhl on the 15-day injured list Monday with right foot metatarsalgia.

Impact Metatarsalgia is discomfort in the ball of the foot. It's not clear how long Kuhl might be sidelined, and with a 9.41 ERA in his first five starts, he's probably not guaranteed a rotation spot once he's deemed ready to return from the IL.

Cory Abbott - Recalled from Triple-A Abbott was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse by the Nationals on Monday.

Impact Abbott posted a 5.25 ERA over 16 appearances (nine starts) with the Nationals last season. He held a 6.46 ERA in his first five starts with Syracuse this year, although that came with a 30:9 K:BB over 23.2 frames. Abbott is taking Chad Kuhl's (foot) roster spot and it's possible he'll also take his spot in the rotation.

Victor Robles - Drives in two Sunday Robles went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-2 victory over the Pirates.

Impact Robles broke the game open in the third inning, driving in Dominic Smith and CJ Abrams with a one-out double. The 25-year-old Robles has gotten off to a nice start this season, slashing .278/.374/.354 with 8 RBI, 12 runs scored and six stolen bases. Now in his fifth full season, Robles has yet to provide consistent offensive production in the MLB. However, his stolen base upside does offer a path toward fantasy relevance.
