Rhys Hoskins - Sitting Saturday Hoskins will get the day off Saturday against the Nationals, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Impact Hoskins sits after starting 39 straight games, including both halves of Friday's doubleheader. He's swung a very hot bat recently, homering five times in his last 12 games while posting a 1.246 OPS, so the Phillies will hope the off day allows him to remain fresh and keep up that level of performance. Alec Bohm slides to first base in his absence while Yairo Munoz takes Bohm's usual spot at third.

Bryce Harper - Out with infected blister Harper will sit Saturday against the Nationals due to an infected blister on his left hand, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Impact Harper finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row, as he sat for the nightcap of Friday's doubleheader. That may have been a scheduled game off, but Saturday's absence doesn't seem to have been planned. The issue apparently flared up overnight, so Harper will sit for at least one game while taking antibiotics to treat the issue. The Phillies have an off day Monday, so it's possible he sits Sunday as well in order to get three straight days to heal. Nick Castellanos will take his designated hitter spot while Matt Vierling starts in right field.

Impact The 29-year-old was sent down Friday but will rejoin the Nationals' bullpen a day later after Evan Lee (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list. Machado has made 17 relief appearances in the big leagues this year and has posted a 5.48 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 23 innings.

Evan Lee - Placed on 15-day IL Lee was placed on the 15-day injured list with a left flexor strain Saturday, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com
Impact Lee suffered a shoulder injury during the first game of Friday's doubleheader against Philadelphia, and he underwent X-rays that came back negative. However, he'll land on the injured list after an MRI revealed a strain. A better idea of Lee's return timetable should come into focus once he's cleared to resume throwing. Right-hander Andres Machado was recalled to take Lee's place in the bullpen.
