Tyler Glasnow - Had cramps in hands, legs Rays manager Kevin Cash said Glasnow battled cramping in his hands and legs Friday right Atlanta, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact That's what led to Glasnow's exit in the top of the sixth inning. Cash noted that the 29-year-old right-hander has dealt with similar types of cramps before and that he was probably done for the night anyway at 88 pitches. He should be able to take his next scheduled turn in the Tampa Bay rotation coming out of the All-Star break. Glasnow racked up eight strikeouts Friday versus Atlanta while yielding two runs -- one earned -- on two hits and one walk across 5.2 frames.

Tyler Glasnow - Pulled due to cramps Glasnow exited his start Friday against Atlanta due to cramping, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Impact There are no specifics, but Glasnow could be spotted massaging and stretching his left (glove) hand as he departed in the top of the sixth inning. If it is indeed just a non-throwing-hand cramp, the 29-year-old righty should be able to avoid the IL and slot back into the Rays' rotation the weekend after the All-Star break. He finished with eight strikeouts against only one walk Thursday while scattering two runs -- one earned -- on two hits over 5.2 frames.

Tyler Glasnow - Exits start with injury Glasnow was removed from his start Friday versus Atlanta due to an apparent injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Glasnow seemed to be having some trouble with his left (glove) hand, as he was rubbing and stretching it as he walked off the field with a trainer at his side. The 29-year-old right-hander had allowed two runs -- one earned -- over 5.2 innings prior to his departure in the top of the sixth. He issued only one walk and struck out eight.
