LaMonte Wade Jr. - Optioned to Triple-A Wade was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.
Impact Wade had been finding himself in the lineup on a regular basis, starting five straight games in left field. He was hitting well, too, posting a .265/.344/.470 slash line through 94 plate appearances on the year. He'll head to the minors for now, with Alex Dickerson returning from a back injury to take his spot in left field, but he's seemingly earned the chance to return soon whenever the Giants next need another outfielder.

Jason Vosler - Sent to Triple-A Vosler was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.
Impact The 27-year-old has been on the big-league roster since early June and hit well during this stint in the majors with a .905 OPS, but the returns of Alex Dickerson and (back) and Darin Ruf (hamstring) from the injured list necessiated some roster moves. Vosler should receive another chance in the majors later in the season when the Giants require infield depth.

Alex Dickerson - Activated from injured list Dickerson (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Impact Dickerson will wind up missing just under two weeks with an upper-back strain. Prior to suffering the injury, he wasn't coming close to the .947 OPS he produced last year, struggling to a .693 mark. He was still starting every game against righties when healthy, however, so he'll likely return to a regular role for now. LaMonte Wade Jr. was optioned in a corresponding move.

Darin Ruf - Back from injured list Ruf (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Impact Ruf joined Triple-A Sacramento for a rehab assignment Saturday and will rejoin the Giants after going 2-for-8 with a double, two RBI and a run in two minor-league games. The 34-year-old should be a reserve option at first base and left field, and he figures to receive some starts against left-handed pitching.
