Vaughn Grissom - Back atop depth chart Grissom figures to see everyday work at second base down the stretch after Ozzie Albies suffered a broken right pinky finger Saturday against the Phillies.
Impact Albies had just returned from a foot injury, but this latest injury likely ends his season. Grissom has excelled in all five roto categories, hitting .301 with five home runs, five steals, 22 runs and 16 RBI in 32 games.

Ozzie Albies - Suffers broken pinky Albies exited Saturday's game against the Phillies with a fractured right pinky finger.
Impact Given that there are less than three weeks left in the regular season, this probably means we've seen the last of Albies in 2022. He suffered the injury while sliding into second base. Vaughn Grissom will replace Albies as the everyday second baseman.

Ozzie Albies - Exits with hand injury Albies exited Saturday's game against the Phillies after injuring his hand after sliding into second base, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Impact Toscano reports that the broadcast showed Albies looking at his hand and grabbing a couple fingers after the slide. Vaughn Grissom, who replaced Albies, would be the backup at second base if Albies misses more time.

Edmundo Sosa - Season in jeopardy Sosa is dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring strain, which could end his season, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Impact The Phillies acquired Sosa as a defense-first utility man at the deadline, but he's been better than advertised at the plate in limited action, slashing .315/.345/.593 across 59 plate appearances. Yairo Munoz was recalled Friday to fill his utility role and now seemingly has a path to remain on the roster the rest of the way.

Nick Castellanos - Takes dry swings Castellanos (oblique) was able to take some dry swings Saturday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Impact Castellanos has been out with an oblique injury for the past two weeks. He paused his rehab work briefly earlier this week after he continued to feel sore while swinging, but he's been able to start back up again. While that's certainly a positive sign, he still has work to do before he's activated off the injured list.
