McHugh expected to start for the Rays against the Orioles

Another disastrous outing Fry (4-5) took the loss versus Tampa Bay on Sunday. He recorded one out while allowing four runs on a hit and three walks.

Impact Fry threw only 12 of his 25 pitches for strikes in an erratic and difficult appearance in the eighth inning. The southpaw has completely fallen apart in August with nine runs allowed in two innings across four appearances. He's now taken two straight losses while his ERA has ballooned from 3.35 from the end of July to its current 5.10 with the recent struggles.

Fry has gotten off to a terrible start in August with five runs allowed over his last 1.2 innings. His ERA has skyrocketed to 4.29 with a 1.21 WHIP and 57:23 K:BB in 42 innings, and continued struggles could limit his fantasy appeal further after he's already lost out on closing duties.

As a lefty, he may be needed earlier in games than the ninth inning, although Baltimore manager Brandon Hyde has been reluctant to stick with one closer throughout a difficult season.
