Impact DeJong will take a seat for the third game in a row, including a second straight matchup versus a right-hander (Kutter Crawford). Though he's produced a home run and two walks in his four starts since joining the Royals a week ago, DeJong looks like he'll have to settle for more of a part-time role in Kansas City while he's part of a much more talented infield than the one he occupied in Chicago earlier in the season.

Impact The two teams are currently in the midst of a three-game series in Chicago, so DeJong will simply head to the other clubhouse. The veteran shortstop likely won't see much time at his natural position due to the presence of Bobby Witt, but DeJong could see action at second and third base.
