Clears waivers The Marlins outrighted Bugg to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.

Impact Bugg was with the Marlins for just two days before he was cast off the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster. The 28-year-old reliever didn't make his MLB debut during his brief stay with the big club and will now head back to Triple-A Jacksonville, with whom he produced a 1.82 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 29.2 innings prior to his call-up last week.

Dropped from 40-man roster The Marlins designated Bugg for assignment Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Impact Bugg's stint in the majors (and on the 40-man roster) lasted all of two days, as Miami DFA'd him to clear a spot in the bullpen for Cole Sulser (lat), who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list. The 27-year-old right-hander will move off the roster having yet to make his debut for the Marlins.

Brought up by Miami Bugg's contract was selected by the Marlins on Sunday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Impact Bugg has advanced through the ranks since being drafted by Miami in 2016, and he finally earned his first trip to the big leagues. He shined over 17 appearances this season with Triple-A Jacksonville, posting a 1.88 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 32:13 K:BB over 28.2 innings.
