INJURIES

Optioned again Tuesday The Dodgers optioned Davis to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Impact Since April 28, Davis has been back and forth between Triple-A Oklahoma City and Los Angeles. While he was called up Monday as the Dodgers commenced a three game series with the Marlins, he is being sent back down a day later without any innings of work. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers recalled Matt Sauer from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Called up Monday Davis was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Impact Davis will return to the major-league roster after being sent down Saturday, replacing Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) with the Dodgers after Glasnow was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday. Davis has appeared in three games with Los Angeles this season, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out three batters over 2.2 innings. The right-hander will serve as an additional option out of the bullpen for the Dodgers and it's unclear at this point who will replace Glasnow in the starting rotation.

Optioned to OKC The Dodgers optioned Davis to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Impact Davis has allowed four runs (three earned) in 2.2 innings since being recalled from Triple-A on April 18. His poor performance will cause him to be sent down in favor of Yoendrys Gomez, who was claimed off waivers from the Yankees on Friday.

Joins major-league roster The Dodgers recalled Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
Impact It's the corresponding roster move for Bobby Miller, who was optioned to Oklahoma City on Thursday following an unsuccessful spot start Wednesday. Acquired from the Red Sox in a trade over the offseason, Davis has allowed five runs but struck out nine over 5.2 innings in the minors this season. He'll give the bullpen some length.

Traded to LAD The Dodgers acquired Davis from the Red Sox on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations and selected his contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Impact Davis exercised the upward mobility clause in his minor-league deal with the Red Sox and will now join the Dodgers' active roster. The 27-year-old has a career 7.71 ERA over 17 appearances at the big-league level, but the Dodgers see potential in the righty.

Red Sox Reassign Veteran in Recent Wave of Spring Training Cuts The Boston Red Sox are beginning to trim their Spring Training roster, including Austin Adams, Isaiah Campbell, and Noah Davis.
MARCH 17 • NEWSOBSERVER.COM
Dismissed from big-league camp The Red Sox reassigned Davis to minor-league camp Monday.
Impact Davis appeared in nine games out of the Colorado bullpen in 2024 and turned in a 5.75 ERA and 1.87 WHIP over 20.1 innings, but the right-hander never looked to be a serious threat to win a spot on Boston's Opening Day roster after signing with the organization on a minor-league deal in December. The 27-year-old could operate as a swingman at Triple-A Worcester this season, as he has experience both as a starter and reliever in the big leagues and upper levels of the minors.
MARCH 17 • ROTOWIRE
Links up with Boston on MiLB deal The Red Sox signed Davis to a minor-league contract Saturday.
Impact Davis broke the news himself on his Instagram account. The right-hander holds a 7.71 ERA and 43:23 K:BB over 51.1 innings covering parts of three seasons at the major-league level. Davis has experience as a starter and reliever and it's not clear what role Boston has planned for him, but he'll likely begin the 2025 season at Triple-A Worcester.
DECEMBER 23, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Pushed off 40-man roster The Rockies outrighted Davis off the 40-man roster Sunday.
Impact The Rockies optioned Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, and though the team never made a formal announcement that he was designated for assignment, he must have been exposed to waivers at some point prior to Sunday. After going unclaimed, Davis will stick around in the organization as a member of the pitching staff at Albuquerque, where he'll most likely serve as a swingman. Davis had pitched out of the bullpen for Colorado prior to his recent demotion, logging a 5.75 ERA and 1.87 WHIP in 20.1 innings.
SEPTEMBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Dispatched to Albuquerque The Rockies optioned Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.
Impact Since coming up from Triple-A in late July, Davis has posted a 5.19 ERA and 1.90 WHIP alongside a 13:7 K:BB through 17.1 innings. He'll now head back to the minors in order to get back on track, and the Rockies will promote Seth Halvorsen from Albuquerque to fill the open bullpen spot.
AUGUST 30, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Back in majors The Rockies recalled Davis from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
Impact Davis is taking the roster spot vacated by German Marquez (elbow) and could start Tuesday versus the Red Sox in Marquez's place. The right-hander allowed three runs in one three-inning relief appearance with the Rockies earlier this season and holds a 5.86 ERA and 59:29 K:BB over 58.1 innings in 2024 with Albuquerque.
JULY 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Back in majors The Rockies recalled Davis from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
Impact Davis will join the 26-man active roster as a replacement for German Marquez (elbow), who was placed on the 15-day injured list. Marquez had been in line to start Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, but after he tossed three innings and 71 pitches in his most recent outing for Albuquerque on Friday, Davis might not be available to fill the opening in the rotation on three days' rest. Instead, the right-hander could provide length out of the bullpen. Davis allowed three runs in one three-inning relief appearance with the Rockies earlier this season and holds a 5.86 ERA and 59:29 K:BB over 58.1 innings in 2024 with Albuquerque.
JULY 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Serving as 27th man Sunday The Rockies added Davis to the active roster to be the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Mariners.
Impact Davis was called up for Saturday's game, though he did not make an appearance and was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque after the contest. He'll stick around with the Rockies for Sunday's doubleheader and be available should the team need an additional arm. In four starts with Triple-A Albuquerque this season, Davis has an 0-2 record with a 7.13 ERA, 1.92 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB over 17.2 innings.
APRIL 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Misses Opening Day roster The Rockies optioned Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Impact Davis was competing for a spot at the back end of Colorado's Opening Day rotation but allowed three earned runs on 10 hits and three walks over six innings during spring training. The 26-year-old struggled to an 8.70 ERA over 30 frames in his first taste of the majors last season but is a decent bet to recent another look with the Rockies at some point in 2024.
MARCH 8, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Optioned to minors The Rockies optioned Davis to the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Thursday.
Impact Davis took a loss in his final outing of the year Wednesday versus the Dodgers after allowing four earned runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. The 26-year-old right-hander posted an overall 8.70 ERA and 26:15 K:BB across 30 major-league innings (six starts, two relief appearances) this season with Colorado.
SEPTEMBER 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Takes loss against Los Angeles Davis (0-4) took the loss against the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 4.1 innings.
Impact Davis made it through two scoreless frames before giving up a solo homer to James Outman in the third. The right-hander still entered the fifth inning in a tight 1-1 contest, but he allowed six of the seven batters he reached in that frame to reach base, with his only out coming on a sacrifice fly. All of that traffic led to three Los Angeles runs and the fourth defeat of the campaign for Davis. This was presumably his last appearance of the campaign, as he threw 86 pitches. If that's the case, Davis will finish with an 8.70 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 26:15 K:BB over 30 innings in his first extended look in the majors.
