Impact Martinez will draw his first start since May 22, but he had already been filling the fifth spot in the rotation after he worked four innings in bulk relief behind opener Tony Santillan in the Reds' 6-3 win over the Cubs last Tuesday. He'll be taking the hill on just two days' rest after covering an inning out of the bullpen Friday against the Giants, but Martinez shouldn't be operating under any significant restrictions since he tossed just 17 pitches in that appearance. Over his prior five starts this season, Martinez turned in a 7.36 ERA across 25.2 innings.
