Giancarlo Stanton - Won't play outfield in NL park Stanton won't start in the outfield during the series in Philadelphia this weekend, Pete Caldera of USA Today reports.
Impact Stanton returned from a quad injury May 28 and the Yankees have continued to be cautious with the slugger. Part of that plan has been limiting Stanton to DH duty for now, and that will continue during the series in the National League park over the weekend. The 31-year-old will surely get some at-bats off the bench against the Phillies, however.

Kenta Maeda - Rejoining rotation Monday Manager Rocco Baldelli said Friday that Maeda (arm) will be activated to start Monday's game against the Mariners, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Impact Maeda landed on the injured list May 23 with a right adductor strain and later suffered arm soreness as resumed throwing at the end of May. The right-hander threw 54 pitches during a rehab start with Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, allowing one run while punching out five across four innings. His next start will come with the Twins on Monday, though he likely won't be fully stretched out in his return to the big leagues.
