Gary Sánchez - Triples, scores in loss Sanchez (back) went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Red Sox.
Impact In the eighth inning, Sanchez hit just the second triple of his major-league career before he scored on a Gleyber Torres single. Sanchez ended up missing just one game after dealing with back spasms. The catcher is slashing .219/.333/.470 with 17 home runs, 37 RBI, 40 runs scored and 10 doubles in 294 plate appearances.

Impact Urshela had been out of the lineup since July 16 due to a positive test for COVID-19. He was reasonably productive in his return to the lineup, putting the Yankees ahead 2-0 with his fourth-inning RBI single. Tyler Wade - Posts steal as pinch runner Wade stole a base as a pinch runner for Giancarlo Stanton in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Red Sox.
Impact Wade notched his sixth steal in eight chances with two outs in the ninth inning of Sunday's contest, but Rougned Odor popped out to end the Yankees' hope of tying the game. The 26-year-old Wade continues to see mostly a bench role, as he has two RBI, 17 runs scored, a triple and a double in just 71 plate appearances this year.

Impact The shortstop has had a green light on the basepaths lately with four stolen bases in his last four games. Torres has a career-high 10 steals this season.
