Josh Donaldson - Could return in 10 days Yankees manager Aaron Boone believes that Donaldson (hamstring) could miss only the required 10 days while on the injured list, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Impact Donaldson was placed on the injured list Saturday with a right hamstring strain, retroactive to April 6. The infielder is already hitting and throwing per Boone, and assuming there's no setbacks there's a good chance Donaldson is manning the hot corner again for the Yankees in the middle of April.

Oswald Peraza - Dealing with hamstring tightness Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters Saturday that Peraza is dealing with right hamstring tightness, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Impact Peraza wasn't called up by the Yankees when Josh Donaldson was placed on the injured list, and while it wasn't a lock he'd receive a promotion, the injury obviously played a factor. Peraza is considered day-to-day with the hamstring trouble and should be back in the lineup for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in the coming days.

James McCann - Could return Sunday McCann (oblique) will catch Saturday for High-A Aberdeen and could return to the Orioles on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Impact McCann begin his rehab assignment with Aberdeen on Friday and singled twice. The backup backstop has been on the shelf since the start of the year with his oblique strain, and even if he doesn't return Sunday he should be back with the club early in the next week if there are no setbacks.

Impact The laceration and stitches are on his non-throwing hand, so the left-hander may not require a trip to the injured list. Zimmermann has made one appearance for Norfolk this year and allowed two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and a walk over 4.2 innings.
