Francisco Lindor - Homer, steal against Nats Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.
Impact The rest of the Mets' lineup couldn't get much going, but Lindor provided his fantasy managers with a tasty "combo meal" to close the first weekend of MLB action. Lindor's OPS is north of 1.000 in the early going as he looks to rebound after an underwhelming first season in Queens. He was hit by a pitch on the ear flap of his helmet Friday, but Lindor quickly cleared concussion protocols.

Tanner Rainey - Nails down first save of 2022 Rainey worked around a hit to throw a scoreless ninth inning and earn the save Sunday against the Mets.
Impact Manager Dave Martinez didn't name a closer coming into the season, but he did tell MASN Sports back in mid-March that he would "love" for Rainey to show he's ready to close. The early returns are promising. Kyle Finnegan worked the eighth inning Sunday, setting up the save chance for Rainey.

Carlos Carrasco - Settles in after early homer Carrasco allowed one run on two hits over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Sunday. He struck out five and did not issue a walk.
Impact Nelson Cruz greeted Carrasco with a long ball in the first inning, but Carrasco was fantastic after that. He allowed just a single the rest of the way and finished his outing retiring 15 batters in a row. He fed Washington a steady diet of offspeed pitches and looks like a strong fantasy option for next week's scheduled home matchup against the Diamondbacks.

Erick Fedde - Fans five in no-decision Fedde allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Sunday.
Impact Fedde served up a homer to Francisco Lindor in the fourth and allowed an RBI single to Mark Canha later in that same frame, but the right-hander kept New York off the board in his other four innings of work. He racked up five strikeouts on the strength of 12 swinging strikes. Fedde is in line for a favorable road matchup in Pittsburgh next week, but remember this is a pitcher with a career WHIP pushing 1.50.

Mason Thompson - Dealing with biceps tendinitis Thompson, who was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier Sunday, was diagnosed with right biceps tendinitis after undergoing an MRI, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com reports.
Impact The original diagnosis for Thompson's injury was a biceps strain, but it's instead been classified as tendinitis after receiving the imaging results. It's unclear how long the 24-year-old is expected to be unavailable, but he'll be eligible to be activated April 20 versus the Diamondbacks.
