Bryce Harper - Not yet in MVP form Harper will serve as the Phillies' designated hitter and will bat third in Tuesday's game against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Impact With a career 1.017 OPS in 889 plate appearances in March or April, Harper has historically been at his best early in the season before injuries take their toll, but he's gotten off to a uncharacteristically slow start to 2022 despite being in optimal health. Through four games, Harper has generated one hit and two walks while striking out six times across 17 plate appearances. The strikeout rate is up, but in all likelihood, the hits will eventually start to fall in for Harper as the sample size increases. Fantasy managers should be heartened by the fact that he's still striking the ball with authority, as his Statcast-measured hard-hit rate and average exit velocity rank in the 97th and 93rd percentile in baseball, respectively.

Alec Bohm - Benched after night to forget at 3B Bohm is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Impact Bohm has reached base in all six of his plate appearances (three doubles, three walks) between his two starts this season, but he hasn't been able to make much progress in his battle with Bryson Stott for the top job at third base. That might be due to his poor defense more than anything, and his move to the bench Tuesday comes as little surprise after he had a particularly horrendous night at the hot corner in Monday's 5-4 win over the Mets. Though he successfully fielded the five balls hit his way, Bohm's three throwing errors were a big reason the Phillies fell into a 4-0 hole before rallying for five runs in the bottom of the eighth. Stott is picking up a start at the keystone Tuesday in place of a resting Jean Segura, but Bohm will still take a seat while Johan Camargo fills in for him at third base.

Impact The Mets will stay away from May for the remaining two games of its series in Philadelphia, but he appears to have steered clear of any major damage after experiencing arm fatigue during his appearance in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Phillies. After getting a couple days of rest and anti-inflammatory treatment to address the injury, May will be re-evaluated on Thursday's off day. Assuming he shows the desired improvement, he should be available for this weekend's home series versus the Diamondbacks.
