Hayden Wesneski, who was activated from the 15-day injured list Friday, is a candidate to follow in bulk relief once Pearson is done for the day. Pearson was traded by the Blue Jays to the Cubs in late July, and since the move, the 28-year-old right-hander has posted a 3.13 ERA and 0.96 WHP across 23 innings.
