Miguel Sanó - Scratched for dental procedure Sano's removal from the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta was due to a dental procedure, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Impact Sano may miss a day or two worth of at-bats, but his absence shouldn't meaningfully affect his preseason preparation. That said, he could probably use as many swings as possible to get his timing down, as he's hit .167/.286/.292 with a 46.4 percent strikeout rate through 10 spring games.

Miguel Sanó - Scratched from lineup Sano was scratched from the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta for undisclosed reasons.
Impact It's not yet clear if Sano is dealing with an injury or if the Twins have simply changed their plans for the day. Alex Kirilloff moves in from left field to handle first base in his absence, which is likely what Minnesota would do on a regular basis if Sano is forced to miss an extended period.

James Paxton - Throwing bullpen sessions Paxton (elbow) has progressed to throwing a bullpen session and is ahead of schedule in his recovery from elbow surgery, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Impact Paxton was throwing off flat ground in mid-March, and he's apparently advanced to mound work over the past couple weeks. The veteran left-hander is returning from Tommy John surgery in April of 2021 and hadn't been expected to see game action until the middle of summer, but it's possible he'll be ready to return a bit earlier.
