Ralph Garza Jr. - Claimed by Boston Garza was claimed off waivers by the Red Sox on Thursday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Impact Garza was designated for assignment by the Twins on Tuesday when the team signed Carlos Correa. He posted a 3.56 ERA in 30.1 innings of relief as a 27-year-old rookie for Houston and Minnesota last year, but his 22.8 percent strikeout rate and 11.0 percent walk rate were both unimpressive.

Kyle Tyler - DFA'd by Boston Tyler was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Thursday.
Impact Tyler was claimed off waivers from the Angels on Tuesday, but he'll now be designated for assignment for the second time in less than a week. The right-hander posted a 3.66 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 86 innings across 20 appearances (14 starts) in the minors last year and is in line to begin the 2022 campaign at Triple-A Worcester if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
