Dereck Rodríguez - Remains in organization Rodriguez cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Impact Rodriguez spent two days on the major-league roster earlier in the week, allowing three runs in four innings of relief. He owns a 5.97 ERA and a 15.6 percent strikeout rate since the start of the 2019 season, so it's no surprise to see him pass through waivers unclaimed.

Twins: MRI shows no structural damage to Buxton's right knee

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli says an MRI on star Byron Buxton’s right knee didn’t reveal any structural issues
APRIL 16, 2022 Associated Press
Byron Buxton - Traveling with team to Kansas City Buxton (knee) will travel with the Twins during their upcoming road trip to Kansas City, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Impact Buxton underwent an MRI that didn't reveal any structural damage in his right knee, but he was expected to miss about a week due to the issue. However, manager Rocco Baldelli didn't rule out the possibility of Buxton playing sometime during Minnesota's upcoming series against the Royals, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday. Early reports on the 28-year-old's status have certainly been encouraging, but Gilberto Celestino and Nick Gordon should see increased playing time in Buxton's absence.

Impact Taylor dealt with a back issue for most of camp, and the injury has forced him to miss the start of the regular season. He threw live batting practice Thursday and will make a rehab appearance to close out the weekend. Per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe, manager Alex Cora suggested that Taylor will require 5-6 rehab appearances, so he's likely still at least a week away from rejoining the major-league club.

Byron Buxton - No structural damage Buxton (knee) isn't dealing with any structural damage but will likely be forced to miss about a week, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Impact Buxton exited Friday's win over the Red Sox with a sore right knee, and he underwent an MRI that didn't reveal anything too concerning. Per Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Twins don't plan to place Buxton on the injured list, so they seem to be optimistic that he'll be back in action sooner rather than later. Nick Gordon is starting in center field Saturday against Boston, while Gilberto Celestino should also see additional playing time while Buxton is sidelined.
