Yusniel Diaz - Back from injured list Diaz (hamstring) was activated from the 7-day injured list and is starting Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Impact Diaz has been sidelined the past few weeks by a hamstring injury but is returning to action Tuesday for the Tides. The 25-year-old was off to a strong start with Norfolk prior to the injury, as he was 7-for-19 with two homers, two doubles, eight RBI and six runs through six games.

Tyler Nevin - Leaves Tuesday's game Nevin was removed from Tuesday's game against the Twins with right groin soreness, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.
Impact The 24-year-old went 0-for-1 with an RBI and was hit by a pitch before being pulling during the sixth inning. He was making his fifth straight start Tuesday since Ryan Mountcastle and Trey Mancini have dealt with some injuries of late but are now healthy, so Nevin's playing time is likely to dip regardless of the severity of the injury.

Chris Ellis - Getting shoulder looked at Ellis left the Orioles on Tuesday to have receive an evaluation on his right shoulder from a doctor in Texas, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Impact Ellis was diagnosed with right shoulder inflammation when he was placed on the injured list April 26, but the fact that he's visiting a doctor far away from Baltimore hints that a more severe injury could be in play. The Orioles should provide an update on Ellis' condition after the checkup, but at the very least, he'll be sidelined for more than the minimum 10 days.

Josh Winder - Likely to get another start Winder is expected to make his second straight turn through the Minnesota rotation Friday in Oakland, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Impact Winder turned heads in his first big-league start Sunday in Tampa Bay, striking out seven over six scoreless frames en route to claiming the win. Despite the excellent outing, Winder wasn't a lock to receive a second start this week, but the Twins' decision to have Sonny Gray (hamstring) make one more minor-league rehab appearance paves the way for the rookie to get another turn. Barring any setbacks in his upcoming outing with Triple-A St. Paul, Gray should be ready to return from the 10-day injured list next week, so Winder still doesn't look like he'll have much longevity in the big-league rotation.
