Jake Bauers - Reaches 20-homer mark Bauers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Angels.
Impact The blast was Bauers' 20th of the campaign, and this is the first season he's reached that mark. He has gone 11-for-25 (.440) with two homers and five RBI over his last seven games. Through 100 contests on the year, he's batting .269 with an .878 OPS, 64 RBI, 66 runs scored, 16 doubles, two triples and eight stolen bases. Bauers is currently playing through a fractured big toe on his right foot, but it doesn't appear that the injury will cost him much playing time.

Trevor Megill - Picks up 18th save Megill pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Angels.
Impact Megill has given up just three runs over 20.1 innings since the start of June. The closer continues to get the job done -- he's now 18-for-20 in save chances while also adding seven holds this season. He's maintained a 2.83 ERA with a 0.94 WHIP and 50:11 K:BB through 41.1 innings.

Impact Gasser has seemingly turned a corner, allowing just four runs over his last 16 innings across three games, though he hasn't exactly faced tough competition in that stretch. The southpaw is now at a 4.48 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 58:16 K:BB through 62.1 innings over 12 starts this season. One of Gasser, Shane Drohan or Brandon Sproat is likely to give up their rotation spot when Kyle Harrison (forearm) comes off the injured list next week, but all have pitched fairly well in recent starts.

Brett Kerry - Works bulk innings Saturday Kerry allowed one run on two hits and struck out three without walking a batter over four innings of relief versus the Brewers on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.
Impact Kerry was called on to fill a bulk-relief role after the Angels elected to keep Jose Soriano off the mound two days before the trade deadline. Aside from a Jake Bauers solo shot in the fourth inning. Kerry did fairly well in his second big-league appearance. He's allowed three runs with a 5:1 K:BB over eight innings in the majors this season. Kerry has worked primarily as a starter for Triple-A Salt Lake, where he has a 7.52 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 87:35 K:BB across 91 innings over 20 games (17 starts) in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. If Soriano or any other Angels starters get traded, Kerry could find himself with a chance at a rotation spot down the stretch, but he could also stay in the bullpen or return to Salt Lake.
