Back with Seattle The Mariners selected Mastrobuoni's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.

Impact Mastrobuoni was DFA'd by the Mariners in mid-June but is back with the big club to provide depth in the outfield after Julio Rodriguez (concussion) was placed on the 7-day injured list. Mastrobuoni has spent most of the 2026 season in Triple-A, where he has a .603 OPS with five steals, one home run and three RBI over 71 plate appearances.

Outrighted to Tacoma Mastrobuoni cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Tacoma.

Impact Mastrobuoni was DFA'd by Seattle after going 5-for-23 with 10 strikeouts in eight games with the big club, and he'll officially remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 30-year-old has posted just a .649 OPS at Triple-A this season and will likely spend the vast majority of what's left of the season in the minors.
