Undergoing MRI
Manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Castro will undergo an MRI on his right shoulder, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Castro hasn't pitched since Sunday, when he allowed four runs (two earned) on two hits and a walk while failing to record an out against the Red Sox. His injury likely contributed to his struggles, and his MRI should help provide a better idea of the severity of the issue. It's not yet clear whether the right-hander will be available prior to the All-Star break or whether he'll require a trip to the injured list.

Credited with win Friday
Castro (5-0) earned the win over Boston on Friday, allowing one hit while striking out three batters over 1.1 scoreless innings.
Impact
Yankees starter Nestor Cortes was lit up for four runs and eight hits over 3.2 innings, and Castro was brought in to replace him with two outs in the bottom of the fourth. The righty reliever began his outing by hitting Xander Bogaerts with a pitch, but he bounced back to end the frame with a strikeout. Castro then retired three of the four batters he faced in the fifth and was credited with the win as the Yankees cruised to victory. Over his past five outings, Castro has tossed 6.1 scoreless innings while posting a 10:1 K:BB and notching two wins along with one hold.

Picks up win Thursday
Castro (4-0) earned the win over Houston on Thursday, issuing one walk and striking out one batter in one inning.
Impact
The right-hander's outing at first resembled mop-up duty with the Yankees trailing by three runs entering the ninth inning and facing the daunting task of trying to come back against Astros closer Ryan Pressly, but Castro's scoreless frame ended up being critical when New York stormed back for four runs and a walk-off win in the bottom of the frame. The veteran reliever has already set a single-season career high with four victories on the campaign.

Picks up third victory
Castro (3-0) earned the win over Minnesota on Thursday, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed one walk and struck out one batter.
Impact
Yankees ace Gerrit Cole was uncharacteristically shelled for seven runs over 2.1 innings, forcing manager Aaron Boone to go to the bullpen early. Castro was New York's third pitcher, taking over with two outs in the bottom of the fifth. He struck out Gio Urshela to end the frame, then retired three of the four batters he faced in the sixth. Castro was credited with the win when New York put up a pair of runs to take the lead in top of the following inning. The right-hander has enjoyed a strong first season as a Yankee, supplementing his three wins with six holds and a 3.24 ERA.
