Impact Grove reached Double-A in 2021 with a 7.86 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, 26% K%, and 12.4% BB% in 71 innings. Amongst the four pitchers optioned, Grove is the only one that isn't a non-roster invitee.

Added to 40-man roster Grove was added to the Dodgers' 40-man roster Friday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Impact This is a little surprising, as Grove compiled a 7.86 ERA and 1.79 WHIP in 71 innings at Double-A last season. The Dodgers obviously think he's better than that, so perhaps he can break out in 2022.
