Garrett Cooper - Not in Friday's lineupCooper is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Miguel Rojas - Good to go FridayRojas (jaw) is starting at shortstop and batting eighth Friday against the Mariners, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
ImpactRojas was diagnosed with a jaw contusion after being hit in the head by a pitch Thursday against the Nationals, but it's apparently not a serious concern since he's back in the lineup a day later. The 33-year-old has struggled early in 2022 with a .163/.212/.224 slash line through 14 games.

Cole Sulser - Picks up saveSulser struck out two and allowed a walk across a scoreless 1.1 innings to earn the save Thursday against Washington.
ImpactSulser entered the game with a one-run lead in the eighth inning and with runners on first and second. However, he struck out Josh Bell to end the threat and then worked around a leadoff walk in the final frame to record his first save. Anthony Bender has served as the team's primary closer this season, but he pitched on consecutive days and was likely unavailable Thursday as a result. Sulser has pitched well early in 2022, allowing only one earned run across 8.2 innings while maintaining an 8:4 K:BB.

Trevor Rogers - Tallies first winRogers (1-3) allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out four across six innings to earn the win Thursday against the Nationals.
ImpactRogers allowed a run in the opening frame, which was mostly produced by a wild pitch and passed ball. However, he settled in quickly and did not allow a hit across his final five innings of work -- highlighted by eight groundball outs. Rogers has now allowed two or fewer earned runs in three of his four outings to begin the season, which amounts to a 5.09 ERA and a 14:9 K:BB across 17.2 frames.
