Parker Meadows - Moved to 60-day IL The Tigers transferred Meadows (arm/concussion) to the 60-day injured list Monday.
Impact The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of waiver claim Yoniel Curet. Meadows suffered a fractured left arm and a concussion as a result of a collision in the outfield with teammate Riley Greene last week and now will not be eligible to return until June 9.

Yoniel Curet - Claimed off waivers by Tigers The Tigers claimed Curet off waivers from the Phillies on Monday.
Impact Curet has yet to make an appearance this season, though it does not seem to be due to injury. The Tigers have assigned the hard-throwing righty to their Florida Complex League affiliate, so they will have their coaching staff take a look at Curet before deciding how best to deploy him.

Thomas White - Ready to join Triple-A club White (oblique) will be activated from Triple-A Jacksonville's 7-day injured list to make his season debut with the affiliate Thursday, FishOnFirst.com reports.
Impact White was shelved after suffering a Grade 1 right oblique strain in spring training, but he's received the green light to rejoin the Triple-A club after completing a pair of rehab starts at Single-A Jupiter. The 21-year-old lefty built up to 3.2 innings and 63 pitches in his most recent outing with Jupiter on Thursday, allowing an unearned run on one hit and five walks while striking out six. If White can stay healthy and show improved control at Jacksonville, he should get the chance to make his MLB debut at some point later this summer.

Justin Verlander - Needs another bullpen session Verlander (hip) will throw another bullpen session before potentially embarking on a rehab assignment, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
Impact The veteran right-hander threw about 40 pitches during his latest bullpen session Saturday and felt good Sunday, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News, and he'll need at least one more session before facing live hitters. Verlander landed on the shelf April 4 due to left hip inflammation, but he was able to get back to throwing quickly and shouldn't require much time to build back to game readiness.
