Not getting save chances Rodriguez allowed one hit and struck out two across a scoreless inning to record a hold Thursday against the Guardians.

Impact Rodriguez has been used in high-leverage situations for most of the season, so he was a logical candidate to get save chances when Pete Fairbanks (lat) hit the injured list. However, he hasn't gotten a save chance in his last seven appearances, with Thursday's results also marking his first hold in that span.
