Moved to 60-day IL The Angels transferred Rengifo (wrist) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Impact Saturday's move is purely transactional, as Rengifo underwent season-ending surgery on his right wrist Aug. 6. His switch to the 60-day IL opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for Jose Cisnero (shoulder), who was activated from the 60-day injured list. Rengifo is expected to be ready for the start of spring training in 2025.

Impact Rengifo had his right wrist injury flare up in Friday's loss to the Mets and he'll now be forced to miss at least 10 games as a result. In the meantime, infielder Charles Leblanc had his contract selected from Triple-A Salt Lake, replacing Rengifo on the Angels' major-league roster Saturday.
