Oviedo, a Rule 5 selection this past winter, will finish his first season in the big leagues with an 8.80 ERA and 1.99 WHIP across 29.2 innings. Assuming Pittsburgh elects to tender him a contract this offseason, Oviedo will likely report to Triple-A Indianapolis or Double-A Altoona to open the 2022 campaign.
