David Price - Returns to bullpen Price retired one of the four batters he faced in relief during Sunday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta, giving up a run on one hit and two walks in the 22-pitch outing.
Impact Price had started in three of his last four appearances for the Dodgers, working as an "opener" in bullpen games on each of those occasions. He was deployed in a more traditional relief role Sunday, and he'll likely continue to pitch out of the bullpen for the foreseeable future with Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) on track to return from the 60-day injured list to start Wednesday in Pittsburgh. Price may be the next man up to join the rotation if the Dodgers lose another starter at some point, but he'll represent little more than a luxury stash while he's working out of the bullpen.

Tony Gonsolin - Looks set to start Wednesday The Dodgers are expected to reinstate Gonsolin (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register re...
Impact Gonsolin will step into the rotation spot that has most recently been occupied by David Price, who has worked as an opening pitcher in bullpen games the last three times his turn has come up. The Dodgers will look for Gonsolin to provide more length after the right-hander built up his pitch count to 60 (over 3.2 innings) in his third and final rehab start at Triple-A Oklahoma City on June 3. Gonsolin could be capped at around 75 pitches as he steps into the rotation, but he shouldn't face many restrictions in any subsequent starts he makes after Wednesday.

Víctor Arano - Stays with organization Atlanta outrighted Arano to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday after he cleared waivers, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Impact Arano posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in seven innings for Gwinnett before Atlanta cast him off its 40-man roster Friday. The 26-year-old posted a 2.73 ERA and gathered 10 holds in 60 appearances for the Phillies in 2018, but he hasn't re-emerged as a big-league-caliber reliever since undergoing arthroscopic elbow surgery in May 2019.

In 16 games with the Dodgers, Pujols has put up an .809 OPS with four homers, 12 RBI and five runs scored.
